Manukau Live Steamers can be that place, offering an outdoor setting with a picnic table.
How Birthday Party Booking Work
— Tickets
Manukau Live Steamers has specially-priced tickets that are available for birthday party groups.
— Minimum Purchase
Party groups will need to make a minimum purchase of $75, which will give your party group 60 rides.
— Additional Tickets
Additional tickets can be purchased, as required, for $15 for a 12-ride ticket, which represents a 25% discount.
— Essential Things
We can offer power and hot water, if required.
— Start Times
We open on fine Sundays from 10 AM to allow you to set up for the party. Our trains start operating around 11 AM.
— End Times
We stop selling train tickets at 2:30 PM. Closing time is 3 PM. You will need to have left the site by then.

Facilities
There are two picnic tables, one either side of the station, with plenty of room around each table for rugs etc. The table on the car park side of the station has several large trees which can give good shade. If you have a portable sunshade you wish to bring and put up, there is room to do so.
There are public toilets on-site. Sorry, but the club rooms are notavailable for hire.
